Ribs & Burgers Chippendale

This is the first one-star review I’ve given, and I went twice just to be sure I wasn’t being harsh. All the meat is frozen, even the coleslaw doesn’t seem fresh. Chicken is gross, both the schnitzel and the tenders were dry and rubbery. And on both occasions I went, the frying is done with dirty oil, so the food was oily and discoloured. The burger are dishonestly advertised as Wagyu, when they are simple 20cent patties. They try and hide this with flavourful sauces - but the flavours aren’t good. The mushroom sauce is unreasonably bad- it tasted like milk and sugar. The price ($20 for schnitzel, $25 for burger) are an enormous ripoff. Someone is making a lot of profit from this place and it’s definitely not the workers The manager seems nice but always seems rushed and stressed, even though both times I went there were less than 10 people eating there. On both occasions the table wasn’t properly cleaned, similarly the ordering website hasn’t worked. One of the worst dining experiences I had that wasn't related to the food itself but rather the unwelcomed flock of pigeons roaming and flying inside the food prep area, the kitchen and on the dining tables. None of the 5 staff members seemed to be bothered by that or by the risk of food contamination. Service was nonexistent. There are no restrooms inside the restaurant, only the public ones located adjacent to the mall. Having said that... The lamb chops were ok, although some of the fat needed to be rendered a bit more.

This place popped up on my Facebook feed and I thought it sounded and looked good. So I ordered online to be picked up at 12:20 pm. I was honestly looking forward to this lunch. I got there a minute before pick up time thinking it should be getting wrapped up. It was ready to go in a bag. Chips were stale and cold, the wrap needed heating up when I got back to work. My question is why would I get to choose a pick up time only to have them get it ready 15mins earlier and then just sit on the counter. Flavour was good, I could only imagine what it would be like if it was cooked fresh. Don't order online!
